n85 pic iphone pic

OK, I finally admit it. I want an iPhone. I REALLY want an iPhone. I do love my Nokia N85 for many reasons, but the apps available on the iPhone have finally pushed me over the edge. Let me be clear on this point, I’m not one of those people who just want to download time-killing goofy apps all day. I simply want to have mobile versions of my mission critical (desktop Mac) apps available to me at all times, like Contactizer, Mail.app, WorldMate Live, and MacGourmet! I was disturbed to recently hear more than one commercial software company complain about how hard it is to develop for Symbian, and how great it is to develop for the iPhone. This really scares me as a long-time Nokia user.

If Apple would only put a good camera in the iPhone, I’d be buying one right now. But as things stand right now, I can’t bring myself to give up the ability to get amazing impromptu shots of my daughter. The N85 camera does rock hard in daylight.
